ETIT.info — Virtual Tour of VPU No. 7

About the Project

ETIT.info was my first real-world web project, created in Ukraine for VPU No. 7 in Kremenchuk. The project combined two goals in one website: creating an interactive virtual excursion through the vocational school and building a dedicated informational website for the school's Economics & Information Technologies cycle methodological commission. The virtual-tour section was designed to let prospective students and other visitors explore the school remotely. From the tour starting page, users can choose the location they want to visit and continue through the available parts of the school. The idea was especially practical for people who wanted to become familiar with the educational environment before visiting the institution in person. Instead of presenting the school only through text and a few photographs, I built an experience centered around visual exploration and user-controlled navigation. The second major part of the project was the departmental website for Economics & Information Technologies. It presents the commission's educational and methodological focus, its areas of work, the professions connected with the department, information about teachers and other important institutional content. The live site presents professions including computer data-entry operator, information and software processing operator, and accounting data registration specialist, helping prospective students understand the educational directions available to them. I organized the project into clear sections for Home, Tour, Information and Contacts. I also implemented a dark/light appearance switch so visitors could change the visual mode of the website. The content was structured around real school information and materials rather than placeholder data, which made this project very different from my earlier practice exercises. This project was important for me because it was the first time I created a website for a real institution and real users. I had to think not only about how the pages looked, but also about how students, parents and visitors would navigate the information, how a large amount of school material should be organized, and how the virtual excursion and departmental information could work together as one coherent website. I built the project with standard frontend web technologies and deployed it on Netlify. The final result is an educational website that combines institutional information, profession and teacher presentation, visual school exploration and an interactive virtual tour. It became an important early milestone in my development experience because it moved me from small learning projects to solving a practical communication problem for a real vocational school.

My Role

I planned, designed and developed the complete project: the departmental information website, the virtual school-tour experience, navigation and page structure, content organization, light/dark theme interaction, frontend implementation, preparation of school materials for the web and Netlify deployment.

What I Did

• ✓Implemented a light/dark theme switch for the website interface
• ✓Prepared and organized real institutional text, photographs and school materials for online presentation
• ✓Built the frontend interaction and page experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• ✓Deployed and published the finished project on Netlify
• ✓Completed the project as my first real-world website for an actual educational institution
