About the Project

Mongoose Signs & Advertising is a complete business website created for Serhii Titov and his sign and advertising company. The goal of the project was to turn more than 20 years of practical industry experience and a large archive of completed work into a clear, modern online presence that can explain the company's services, demonstrate real projects and guide potential customers toward requesting a quote. The website presents the business through dedicated Home, About, Services, Portfolio, Reviews, Blog and Contact sections. The service structure covers sign installation, billboard installation, LED signs, repair and maintenance, vehicle graphics, permit support and related advertising solutions. The About section communicates Serhii's professional path from his business in Ukraine, through international experience, to his current work in Washington State. The public site also explains the service area and the company's consultation-to-installation process. A major part of the project is the visual portfolio. Completed work is organized into dedicated categories such as illuminated advertising, facades, steles, billboards, interiors, awnings, metal frames, vehicle branding, banners, tinting, road signs, aluminum advertising and paint work. I built the portfolio so category pages can load images from organized project folders and reveal additional images progressively instead of placing the entire archive on the screen at once. This makes a large body of visual work easier to browse and maintain. The frontend was built with Next.js 16, React 19 and TypeScript using the App Router and custom global CSS. I created reusable components, responsive desktop and mobile layouts, a mobile burger navigation, editable SVG-based interface graphics and optimized WebP assets. The design was adapted for different screen sizes while keeping the company's visual identity, calls to action and contact information easy to find. I also developed the interaction flows around customer contact. Service links can carry the selected service into the quote form, phone interactions provide copy feedback, and email behavior is adapted for desktop and mobile use. Contact and review forms were prepared with validation and backend-ready API adapters, including origin checks, honeypot protection, request limits, file restrictions and rate-limiting logic. The application also includes security headers and a Content Security Policy. Persistent form storage was intentionally left ready for a later backend connection rather than being presented as a completed database feature. The project also includes practical production details such as a custom 404 page, sitemap, robots configuration, image optimization and deployment preparation. The finished result is a responsive business website that combines company presentation, service information, a large categorized portfolio, customer-review and quote flows, and a technical foundation that can be expanded with a backend as the business grows.
